Datatel joins the Toronto business community in raising awareness and support for youth experiencing homelessness
Toronto, Canada (PRUnderground) October 21st, 2026

Datatel Inc. announced that its Co-Chief Executive Officer, Barnard Crespi, will once again participate in the Covenant House Toronto Executive Sleep Out on November 19, 2026, joining business leaders committed to raising awareness and critical funds for young people experiencing homelessness and trafficking.
The annual Executive Sleep Out brings together members of the business community who spend a night outdoors in solidarity with vulnerable youth. The event helps raise funds for Covenant House Toronto’s essential programs and services, while drawing attention to the challenges faced by young people who lack safe and stable housing.
“Every young person deserves a safe place to sleep, someone who believes in them, and an opportunity to build a brighter future,” said Barnard Crespi, Co-CEO of Datatel. “I’m proud to participate once again in this year’s Executive Sleep Out and support the extraordinary work Covenant House Toronto does every day. This is an opportunity for all of us to come together and make a meaningful difference.”
Datatel Team Rallies Behind the Initiative
Datatel’s commitment to the Executive Sleep Out extends beyond Crespi’s personal participation. Employees across the organization have embraced the initiative, helping raise awareness, sharing the fundraising campaign, and encouraging their professional networks to get involved.
“I’m especially proud of our team at Datatel, who week after week continue to spread the word and rally support for this important cause,” added Crespi. “Their enthusiasm and commitment reflect the importance we place on giving back to our community. I also want to congratulate the entire Covenant House Toronto team for their dedication to helping young people build better futures.”
Encouraging the Business Community to Take Action
Through his participation, Crespi hopes to inspire Datatel’s customers, partners, colleagues and broader business network to support the campaign.
Covenant House Toronto provides shelter, healthcare, educational resources, employment assistance and other essential services that help young people move toward stability and independence. Community fundraising initiatives such as the Executive Sleep Out help sustain these vital programs.
“Making a difference doesn’t always require a grand gesture,” said Crespi. “Every contribution matters, and every person who shares our message helps bring greater awareness to this important issue. I’m asking my friends, colleagues, and business partners to join me in supporting these young people.”
